The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Tuesday charged President Muhammadu Buhari to “immediately” order the probe of Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole.
By Nwafor Sunday The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Tuesday, asked President Muhammadu Buhari to prosecute the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, APC campaign Director-General, Rotimi Amaechi, and other directors and zonal coordinators, that have corruption charges, noting that he (Buhari) should not only prosecute the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal and former Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ayodele Oke.
On bribery and corruption, the Nigerian leader said his administration will not spare anyone found wanting as all illegally acquired property would be confiscated, sold and money would be returned to the government treasury.
The appellants, through their counsel, Henry Bello, urged the apex court to re-affirm its ruling of October 22, 2018, and nullify the outcome of the primary elections that produced Tonye Cole and other candidates of the Amaechi’s faction.

The Director-General of Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign Organisation and the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, recalled that when he was a governor in Rivers State, the Obasanjo’s government withdrew his security detail.

Wike had accused Transportation Minister Chibuike Amaechi of being behind the trial of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, with the intention to remove him for not supporting his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC and its candidates.
