Members of the caucus are the party’s national officers, President Muhammadu Buhari and the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo; all the governors who are members of the party, some senators and a few members of the House of Representatives.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who was initially billed to grace the test ride with Amaechi, was absent.
If the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo thought he would be respected and honoured as a “son of the soil,” the manner the crowd reacted to him proved him wrong.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has reacted to the decision by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to postpone the 2019 presidential and National Assembly elections.
"This is truly disappointing but ... Nigeria will prevail," the spokesperson for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said on Twitter, noting that Buhari was already in his hometown where he had been set to vote.
