The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, has expressed deep pain over recent unwarranted killings of innocent lives and destruction of property in Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State.
Ben Agande – Kaduna Fulani youths under the auspices of Jonde Jam Fulani Youth Association of Nigeria (JAFUYAN), have pledged not to carry out a reprisal attack over the killing of their kith andkin in Kajuru local government of Kaduna State but called on the government to bring to book,those involved in the killing of 66 persons in the area.
Nasir el-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State, says those minimising the casualty figures or denying the killings in Kajuru Local Government Area of the state, are “bigoted busy bodies”.
The Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) has accused Nasir el-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State, of plans to “produce yet another cycle of bloodshed”, as a result of his comments on the killing of people in Kajuru Local Government Area of the state.
He condemned in strong terms the desperation of the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai who allegedly lied that 66 persons mostly Fulanis were allegedly killed by unidentified gunmen in the state on the eve of the postponed elections in order to provoke chaos and force cancellation of poll results in the state.
Report has it that the Fulani community in parts of Kajuru Local Government Area, Kaduna State, have abandoned the area after an attack which left 66 of them, mostly women and children dead.The report claimed that what remained of the Rugar Fulani community were burnt houses, animals, motorcycles, kitchen utensils, as well as bodies of women and children buried in a ditch.
