For the last 13 years, Ms Lilly Ajarova, has made sure rescued Chimpanzees have a home they can comfortably stay in without fear of being killed.
Ms Ajarova, who has been the executive director of the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Conservation Trust, replaces Mr Stephen Asiimwe who served the agency for about seven years.
“I met a lady who was called Yvonne Verkaik at the Ngamba island chimpanzee sanctuary located on Lake Victoria and she convinced me to start venturing into Rhino Conservation.
