Cape Town – Sans Souci Girls' High School's student governing body (SGB) has suspended the teacher and pupil seen in an altercation in a video that has been met with outrage.
In a video that went viral on social media, a teacher of the Newlands school is seen reprimanding a pupil for not having the correct book and for having her cellphone out in an incident that occurred on Tuesday.
She said that while there is not a ‘one size fits all’ approach to unruly behaviour in our schools, there are certain methods that can be adopted to deal with different circumstances.
