Six policemen charged in stoning of Museveni's car

Six senior police officers were arraigned Wednesday on charges of neglect of duty leading to the stoning of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni's vehicle in northwestern town of Arua in August last year.

Abbas Senyonjo also pleaded not guilty to the charges, saying on the fateful day, he ran to the scene of crime but was haunted and humiliated by the Field Force Unit Commander who was in full control of security near Arua prisons.
