Just days after President Uhuru Kenyatta launched a multimillion-shilling project to give Mama Ngina Drive a facelift, the National Land Commission (NLC) has revealed that most of the land has been grabbed.
The Mombasa county government has demolished perimeter walls surrounding the 2.5 acres of land at the Mama Ngina Drive.
He said the ministry and the NLC should work together to repossess every grabbed public land in Mombasa by the time he returns to open the new Mama Ngina Water Park in June.
