Siaya Senator James Orengo has sharply disagreed with Deputy President William Ruto's remarks that Kenya's electoral problems are created by leaders heading to the ballot with a fixed mind on attaining victory.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leaders have launched a fresh onslaught against Deputy President William Ruto accusing the DP of working hard to make sure the proposed constitutional amendment does not take place.
The DP who has severally accused the Opposition under the leadership of Raila of failing to prepare for elections only to blame their competitors and electoral body, revived the topic he had shelved for a while.
Although he did not mention names, the DP seemed to be referring to ODM party leader Raila Odinga who has in the past contested presidential election outcomes.
“The CSs must attend sittings of Parliament at least once every week and whenever required to answer questions on the floor of the House,” Ruto said.
