According to the report, Nairobi has a strong Asian influence with significant amounts of investment from China, particularly focused on infrastructure projects.

Bengaluru, which is Karnataka's (Indian State) capital city, topped the list while Hyderabad (Telangana), Hanoi (Vietnam), Delhi (India) and Pune (Maharashtra) followed successively.
Nairobi is the only city outside of Asia Pacific as this year’s ranking finds the fastest urban growth continuing to shift away from the West to the East.
The trend of Indian cities being cheapest, however, is consistent on both lists, although the Ukraine, Argentina, Turkey and Mexico also feature.
